What it is

Task-specific AI agents plus deterministic automation orchestrated together with tool access, retries, human review points, and full logging so a real business process runs from start to finish without a person babysitting each step.

Who it's for

Ops, revenue, and support teams drowning in repetitive multi-step work that a well-scoped agent can take off their plate.

Outcomes

  1. 1

    Process discovery

Map the current process, count minutes and failure modes.

  2. 2

    Design + guardrails

Agent scope, tool access, human-in-the-loop points, kill switch.

  3. 3

    Build + shadow

Agent runs alongside the human for two weeks to calibrate.

  4. 4

    Cut over + measure

Take the human out of the loop where safe, keep measuring.

Scoped agent

$25–70k

One process, one agent, shadow-mode + cutover.

Program

$100–250k

Multiple processes with shared platform.

Managed

$4–12k / mo

Ongoing agent ops, guardrails, and improvements.

Bands, not quotes every engagement is priced in writing after discovery.

Common questions

What is an AI agent?
An AI agent is a program that decides which tool to use, in what order, and what to do with the result to complete a task end-to-end. Good agents work under strict guardrails: a defined scope, a fixed set of tools, human-in-the-loop review at risky steps, and full logging.
How do you decide what to automate?
We look for tasks that are repeatable, well-defined, cost measurable time, and have a clear success signal. Anything without a success signal or with high blast-radius on failure stays human-owned or gets a human-review gate.
What guardrails do production agents run under?
Named scope (one-sentence job description), fixed tool list (specific APIs, specific write permissions), human review at risky steps, full trace logging of every decision and tool call, and a kill switch that stops the agent immediately.
How is prompt injection prevented inside an agent?
Retrieved content is tagged as untrusted and cannot override system instructions. Tool calls run against an allow-list of exact function names and argument shapes. Any action that writes to a system of record passes through an approval queue reviewed by a human.
What is a human-in-the-loop gate?
A pause-point in the agent run where a draft action (an email to a customer, a database write, a payment) is shown to a human in a review UI before it is executed. The agent cannot proceed until the human approves, edits, or rejects.
How do you monitor an agent in production?
A dashboard shows every run, the tools it called, the arguments, the outputs, and the final decision. Errors and refusals are grouped so patterns surface quickly, and alerts fire on cost spikes, repeated failures, or any unusual escalation to a human reviewer.
What happens when an agent gets a task wrong?
Every write is reversible. The trace log identifies the exact tool call that caused the issue, we patch the scope, re-run the failing case against the eval set, and only re-enable the agent after the regression is covered.
Can an agent run against our internal systems without exposing credentials?
Yes. Credentials stay in a secrets manager (AWS Secrets Manager, Vault, Doppler). The agent requests short-lived scoped tokens for each tool call and never sees the underlying secret. Access is audited per call.

Use-case pillar

AI automation for mid-market operations teams. β†’

AI agents that complete repeatable multi-step work end-to-end, with human approval at the risky moments and reversible writes everywhere else. Deploris scopes the process, builds the agent, and operates the stack it runs on.

Just a scope, not a sales pitch.

Within one business day you get a written scope and price band nothing more.
