30-Day Hypercare Support After Go-Live.

Hypercare support window for first 30 days after go-live

Part of Rollout & Migrations. Last reviewed October 2026.

Quick answer

What is 30-Day Hypercare Support After Go-Live?

Hypercare is a time-boxed period of heightened support after go-live, when new devices or systems are most likely to expose faults. Deploris provides a 30-day window with issue triage, field dispatch, defect trending and daily visibility, then hands remaining items to your service desk with a documented known-issue list.

WHAT THE WORK COVERS

What 30-Day Hypercare Support After Go-Live includes.

  • 01Dedicated intake route for rollout-related issues, separate from your general ticket queue
  • 02Triage of each issue into remote fix, field visit, vendor escalation or training need
  • 03Dispatch of a local engineer for hardware, peripheral, connectivity or configuration faults
  • 04Floor-walking or office presence in the first days at larger sites
  • 05Defect trending by site, model, image build or application to find root causes
  • 06Fix rollout for recurring issues, such as a driver, policy or profile correction applied across affected devices
  • 07Exit review with closed items, residual risks and a known-issue list for your service desk

HOW WE DELIVER IT

How it is delivered.

  1. 1

    Define hypercare scope and routes

Before go-live we agree what counts as a hypercare issue, how users report it, severity definitions, response expectations and who at your service desk we hand off to.

  2. 2

    Staff the first days

Engineers are scheduled on site or on call for the days when most issues surface, and larger locations get floor-walking support where scoped.

  3. 3

    Triage, fix and trend

Each issue is logged and resolved remotely or in the field. We review tickets regularly for patterns, so one root cause is fixed once rather than many times.

  4. 4

    Exit and hand over

At the end of the window we review open items with you, transfer anything remaining to your service desk with notes, and close hypercare in writing.

INPUTS AND OUTPUTS

What you provide and what you receive.

You provide

  • Named service desk and project contacts for escalation during the 30 days
  • Access to the ticketing tool or an agreed shared mailbox for hypercare issues
  • Severity definitions and any response targets your users already expect
  • Remote management access needed to resolve issues on deployed devices

You receive

  • Issue log with category, site, resolution and time to resolve
  • Weekly trend summary showing recurring defects and root causes
  • Field visit records with engineer notes for each dispatch
  • Exit report with closed items, known issues and the handover to your service desk

WHEN IT FITS

When this is the right deliverable.

Scenario 01

A large number of users switch devices or operating systems on one date, and your service desk expects a spike in how-do-I and it-does-not-work tickets.

Scenario 02

Critical teams such as trading, reception or clinical staff need a fast route to an engineer for the first weeks after migration.

Scenario 03

You want recurring early-life defects traced to a driver, policy or image fault rather than handled as separate unrelated tickets.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions.

What is hypercare support after go-live?
Hypercare is a fixed period of enhanced support right after go-live, when problems are most likely to appear. It combines a dedicated intake route, quick triage, field engineers where needed and trend analysis, followed by a documented handover to your normal support organization.
How long should hypercare last after a device rollout?
For most device rollouts, 30 days is a practical window and is what Deploris offers as standard. Larger or more complex programs may justify longer coverage per wave. The length, hours and response model are agreed in the written scope.
Does hypercare include on-site engineer visits?
Yes, where the scope includes them. Issues that cannot be resolved remotely, such as dock faults, connectivity problems or failed hardware, are dispatched to a local engineer. Priority dispatch has a 4-hour response target in covered metros during business hours.
What is the difference between hypercare and normal break-fix support?
Hypercare is project-specific, time-limited and proactive, with trend analysis aimed at finding root causes from the rollout. Break-fix is ongoing and ticket driven, and it covers the whole estate. Hypercare ends with a handover so your regular support picks up cleanly.
