Quick answer
What is Post-Deployment Validation Report?
A post-deployment validation report is the closing evidence that a rollout was completed as specified. Deploris reconciles every deployed and retired device by serial number against your scope, records test results and exceptions, and updates your asset register, so you receive a documented, auditable record of what was installed where.
WHAT THE WORK COVERS
What Post-Deployment Validation Report includes.
- 01Serial-level reconciliation of planned, delivered, installed, retired and outstanding devices
- 02Per-device test results covering the checks agreed in the written scope
- 03Site completion records with engineer notes, dates and photos where specified
- 04Exception list covering failures, deferred seats, wrong models and missing hardware
- 05Asset register or CMDB update file with location, user, status, tag and warranty fields
- 06Retired device disposition showing wiped, returned, held or collected status
- 07Open item register with owners and target dates for anything not yet closed
HOW WE DELIVER IT
How it is delivered.
- 1
Collect field and staging records
We consolidate staging logs, engineer checklists, acceptance records, photos and collection receipts into a single dataset keyed by serial number.
- 2
Reconcile against scope
Planned seats are matched to installed devices. Gaps such as missing units, duplicates or devices at the wrong site are flagged and investigated.
- 3
Update the asset register
We prepare or apply updates to your CMDB or asset system, covering new devices, reassigned devices and retired assets, in the format your tool accepts.
- 4
Review and issue the report
The engagement manager walks you through results and open items. After your review, the report is issued as the closing record for the deployment.

WHEN IT FITS
When this is the right deliverable.
Finance or audit needs proof of which assets were added and retired in the period, matched to serial numbers.
Your CMDB has drifted over the years, and the rollout is the chance to bring locations, users and statuses back in line with reality.
A vendor or internal sponsor wants formal confirmation that the deployment matches the signed scope before final sign-off.
